According to Economics Times "In the spotlight is the 16-car CRH380A, a new generation of high-speed train which Chinese Ministry of Railways officials say recorded a top speed of 486.1 kilometers per hour on Friday, far exceeding Japan's bullet trains.

Chinese Railway Official said CRH380A is the fastest train in operation in the world today.

On the other hand China boasts the world's longest high-speed railway network, which totals 7,531 km, and Chinese railway officials say the country plans to expand the system to 16,000 km by 2020.

The 2010 Asian Games will kick off in Guangzhou, China

The world’s emerging economic power China ready to host the, The 2010 Asian Games or the XVI Asiad which will kick off in Guangzhou, China from November 12 to November 27, 2010.

45 nations will participate in this big event while 476 events in 42 sports will be contested by athletes, making it the largest event in history of the Games. There are 53 competition venues and 17 training venues available for the Games. The games will also be co-hosted by Dongguan, Foshan and Shanwei, the three neighbouring cities. In Doha, Qatar on July 1, 2004, Guangzhou was awarded the right to host the Games
The mascot design is based on a legend about five immortals who took five rams to Guangzhou, each holding an ear of corn in its mouth. There, the immortals prayed for an end to famine, then flew into the sky as the five rams turned into fossils. The official theme song was released on September 30, 2010, known as "Reunion" (in Chinese "Chongfeng") was composed by Wu Liqun and lyrics written by Xu Rongkai, while the English version was translated by Chen Ning Yang, a Chinese-American physicist and his wife Weng Fan.
On April 19, 2009, organisers chose Haixinsha Island, along with Pearl River as the venue for the opening and closing ceremonies, the only venue which not serve as purpose for competition.
Asian Para Games is about 122.6 billion ($17 billion), with 109 billion spent on infrastructure, 6.3 billion on the venues and some 7.3 billion spent on Games' operation.

Officials in river flows in each of seven thousand container was 170 kg chemicals. These containers Shinchiaang Jilin chemical plant was located, close to the plant because of the flowing river were swept away in floods. China also having an examle of camical dester in November 2005 after the blast in a petrochemical plant in the same river had found dangerous chemicals killed thousands fish.
