1,639 illegal colonies in Delhi, who is culprit?

The emerging power of the world economy & the fastest growing economy of the world, India. Do you know very strange thing about India's capital Delhi, their are 1,639 illegal colonies in Delhi, who made it possible? who is the real culprit? Govt, citizen, MCD(Municipal corporation of Delhi), property dealers or Delhi police? Let's find out
I think it's known to you that 65 people killed & 86 injured in Laxmi nager building collapse. Justify FullDelhi Urban Development Minister A K Walia yesterday said "The five-storey building collapsed as its foundation had weakened due to water seepage in its basement during monsoon when the Yamuna breached its banks. While CM Shiela Dixit said" we will investigate the incidence". As I have seen through out my life that when ever a tragic incidence occurs politicians always give the smiler statement & later totally forgetting every thing. As the mater of fact if we will probe the incidence honestly than we will find out that the real culprit is govt because every one follows the govt order & after govt, culprit no 2:-MCD(Municipal corporation of Delhi), culprit no 3:-Delhi police, culprit no 4:-property dealers & the last culprit citizen. You see last year Supreme Court ordered to demolish the illegal colonies but MCD has taken & kept silent to save the vote banks of govt & resulted, 65 people lost their life. On the other hand property dealers are & Delhi police together created these 1,639 illegal colonies & still their work is on & nobody is ready to take any action, even if people are making home inside the drain.
If am laying than come to the area like Nagoli, Vikash Nager the back side of Uttam nager, you will find out that property dealers were illegally occupied a lots of land & selling it the people with help of police. Every day I am watching this drama from my own eyes, I don't know what our govt is doing?
At last I would like to say that these illegal colonies are the gift of govt's poor policy & real culprit is our govt & culprit must be punished now question aeries who will punish our govt? than answer is citizen. Citizen needs punish the culprit govt to boycott the govt in coming election.
This is the only solution to save our life because we only a vote bank for the govt & otherwise our life is worthless. So please please wake up to punish the govt & cast your vote to the right candidate.

The dark side of Common wealth Games 2010

Sad face of Common Wealth Games 2010

The most expensive Commonwealth Games started on the 3rd of October 2010 at the Jawaharlal Nehru stadium in New Delhi. The opening ceremony was stupendous and attracted great viewership from across the world. Strong crowd that gathered for the opening ceremony was astounded. It was a proud moment for India!

Foreign media praised Commonwealth Games a lot. Sir Steve Redgrave, the five times Olympic gold medalist was really impressed with India’s arrangements for the event and he said that India should take a bid for the Olympics in future.

Ironically, ever since India started preparing for CWG, there has been countless news about corruption in the name of arrangements. The level of corruption was exposed by the media so much that former government minister, Mani Shankar Aiyar who has in the past served as the country’s Sports Minister became the vocal critic of the Games. However, the organizing committee chairperson, Suresh Kalmadi and Delhi government were highly optimistic.

When the participants landed at New Delhi, they complained about the poor unlivable conditions of the rooms. The foreign media till the opening ceremony slammed the Commonwealth Games and then we saw sudden change in their reactions for the fact that India was successful in inaugurating CWG at such a grand scale.

No matter how much India has been applauded for the games; only time will tell us about the intensity of the success. However, the main thing to be pointed out here is the costs that India has incurred for the games.

India has already squeezed up the pockets of not only the state agencies by overrunning the budgets by billion dollars, and approximately 100,000 slum dwellers lost their homes too. The grand CWG stadium is built on the graves of poor slum dwellers.

The slum dwellers as the reaction to an outcry from non-government organizations were shifted to the 7,900 flats in Bawana, the western outskirts of Delhi. The hitch here is that the place at which these poor slum dwellers have been displaced doesn’t connect to the main city with any kind of transportation.

Besides this, people hired to do the cleaning in and around the venue are not paid the amount set for them. These labourers are coerced to work in unsafe and insanitary conditions. In addition, street vendors without the identity proof were asked to leave the city which led to the closure of the roadside eateries.

None of us is unaware of the enormous financial cost of the arrangements that’s almost double the original estimate. The cost India had to pay for the organization has made the 2010 Commonwealth Games the most expensive Commonwealth Games ever! My question is couldn't there be better utilization of the available resources?

Obviously, the stakes were high, but is that a good reason for the authorities to make the games wear such a hefty price tag? India got the opportunity to host such an event but ask the poor slum dwellers they wouldn’t ever say that they are proud of their country.

Once the games are over, the participant of 71 countries will go back to their homes and organizers too will rest well in their bungalows but who will even bother about the wretchedness of the poor slum dwellers? Is India doing justice by organizing such grand event? Are we happily ready for the organization of Olympics?

At last I would like to say Common wealth is games 2010 really a curse for common men & boon for politicians & rich people.

2010 Common Wealth Games will kick off in style from oct 3

The shadow of criticism, scams & blame on Common wealth game is over, finally India meet the games deadline & ready to host Common wealth game 2010 & Those who criticized India earlier now making the bridge of appreciation. As I heard this saying in my child hood that " Mudai lakh bua chahe to kiya hota hai wahi hota hai jo manjure khuda hota hai" means If God is helping you than no body has the power to defeat you" & This saying is correctly matching with the Common wealth game 2010. No body thought & wants that India will meet the final dead line but we did it & made every body wrong. God is really great who made Common wealth game 2010 possible in India.
I think it's known to you that 2010 Commonwealth Games will kick off on Oct 3 in style, nearer
an army of 6,000 young men and women from different parts of the country have gathered at the Army's Parade Ground for practicing rhythmic, choreographed movements for the Opening Ceremony of the Games.
The ground, similar to the size of Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, was bathed under floodlights, attracting the eye of curious jawans passing by as well as giant monsoon beetles.
The stage is 80feet by 40feet, encircled by a 30-feet area, where in the course of a 140-minute presentation, Indian culture, from its hoary past to the modern day, will be showcased. Over this stage will be the aerostat, a lighted canopy that is expected to make the opening ceremony a bewitching spectacle.
The two-hour-twenty-minute extravaganza is expected to start at 7pm and continue till 9.20pm on October 3. It is divided into several segments, each specially crafted and choreographed. Most sequences, say the organizers, are between eight minutes and nine minutes - an attempt to keep the programmer vibrant and showcase as much diversity and heritage as possible.
Opening Ceremony of the Games paused the speed of New Delhi, 3rd Oct is tuned holiday in capital all school, collages, offices, malls & market places are shut down tomorrow. Mobiles are banned in the stadium & no parking facility is given to the people. More than 1.15 lakh security persons are deployed to guard the city, The security is arrangements are fool proof & great.
India is great, Jai Bhart Jai Hind

Safe Games & unsafe nation

India is an emerging economic power as well as the largest democracy in the world and the Commonwealth. The 2010 Commonwealth Games the most expensive Commonwealth Games ever, Which going to be host in India next month, the way Indian govt done the security arrangements in the games venue & village, it's looking like nothing is greater than Common wealth Game. To see The foolproof security arrangements for the Games, you can say that even a bird will not dare to inter in the games village. Delhi police, CRPF & Army are totally devoted to games & this giving a chance to criminals to commit crime. The increase in crime rate in Delhi before games showing that games are safe but our nation & citizens are unsafe. Do you think games are importation than nation & citizens. Let's check out what type problem we are facing for games.
Police is according maximum priority to opening and closing ceremonies. According to sources, besides elite NSG commandos and other paramilitary forces around 7,500 cops would be deployed at the JN Stadium all through the opening day & 1.15 lakh security persons to guard the city.
Mini Remotely Operated Vehicle (MROV). Procured for Rs 1 crore, this equipment will be deployed for the opening ceremony of the Commonwealth Games on October 3 at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium. This is all about world class security arrangement. Now come to the pain of common men.
Delhi’s makeover as a world class city before Commonwealth Games has made the authorities shift and dump the over a thousand flood victims squatting along the UP link road to a site along a stinking drain near Mayur Vihar Phase-I.
From 8am to 8pm, one lane on route connecting Village to hotels Ashoka and Samrat reserved for Games traffic. Violators could face arrest, seizure of vehicle, imprisonment and a penalty of Rs 2,000. This will be in force till October 16.
Those visiting offices and other institutions close to venues advised to carry an ID proof with a photograph to avoid security hassles.
1,600 Bluelines off Games routes, so commuters harassed. DTC buses packed to capacity & autorickshaws gain. South, east, northeast and central Delhi areas worst-affected. Buses to return on Oct 16.
Civic agencies and cops removing over a lakh illegal vendors. Vegetable vendors, paan shops, dhabas etc targeted. Shops also being asked to shut down for a few days if they fall along the route of a Games event.
At last I would like to say that nothing is greater than nation & citizens but our govt made games are greater than nation. The way our govt protecting games never thought to protect nation & citizens, which is very much shameful. My question to all of you,What is the need of such game which makes the life of common man miserable? Please must leave your answer after reading this article.

Respect us or pay the price:- India to CWG nations

Lashing out at nations, particularly Australia, New Zealand, Canada and England, for criticizing India for its handling of the Commonwealth Games, Commerce Industry Minister Anand Sharma has warned that they may have a price to pay in terms of business opportunities in the emerging economy.

"It would be a mistake not to engage with India with respect. When it comes to business, who's loss would it be?" he told the media after meeting his Canadian counterpart Peter Van Loan in Ottawa.

Slamming the foreign media for "running a campaign'' against India over its handling of the Games, the minister said, "Dated and frozen images, exaggeration, trying to run down a country is not acceptable to us.''

A visibly angry Sharma said India is an emerging economic power as well as the largest democracy in the world and the Commonwealth.

He said, "I can tell you we will host the Games and we will host them in a manner which is befitting.''

The minister said "unprecedented rains and heavy floods even till now'' have played havoc with work at the Games' village. "There is no major project anywhere which is concluded to perfection.''

Hitting out at those international athletes who have pulled out of the Games citing health and security reasons, Sharma said, "Maybe either they are not confident of winning the medals or they will lose out.''

Earlier interacting with South Asian journalists in Toronto on Thursday night, the minister said, "I would like to request the media members for a fair and balance reporting. One sink picture and one dirty room picture. But there are many positives - tens of thousands of people have toiled getting stadiums (ready), building metro....but nothing gets reported.''

He added, "Let me put it bluntly that tens of thousands of athletes will be coming and the Games will be successful.''

The minister said India carried out the preparations transparently and the country will live up to its " tradition and culture (that) how hospitable we are - a guest is a god for us.''

Sharma is in Canada to meet his Canadian counterpart Peter Van Loan, business leaders and CEOs as part of the dialogue between the two countries to deepen their "strategic partnership'' and triple bilateral trade to $15 billion in the next five years.

On the other hand, star athletes continue to pull out of Commonwealth Games with British Diver Peter Waterfield becoming the latest one, citing health concerns.

The 29-year-old 10-metre platform specialist had won a gold medal in 2002 Manchester Games and a silver in the last edition in Melbourne.

The star diver said he expects people to respect his decision.

"I have a wife and two young children who were very concerned about me attending the event and this decision is one that we have made as a family.

At last I would like to say that foreigners should accept the power & progress of India openheartedly for their bright future, because India is India & India is great.

Common wealth Games, Shame and Fame?

Game, Shame and Fame

Winning in the race for CWG 2010 organizing in Delhi seven years back was a big day for India but it's turn in to curse due to the corrupted game officials who played the most important role to push us in back foot & when govt came in to act rain God done the remaining thing & failed to complete the work in time.
We missed and messed the opportunity to show case our capabilities to the world as demonstrated by our neighbor China. In this probably major hurdle was initially the then Sports Minister Mr. Mani Shankar Aiyyer. He had his own vision of organizing Sports in India but that he could never implement. He may be right but when he is not getting the support he should have resigned or opted out of the Govt. His stubborn attitude could be seen when he addresses media some time back and said that he would be happy to see that CWG 2010 proves to be a big flop show. This is probably was very important period that was lost. Any way these facts would get revealed later after the event is over and Vigilance and Investigating agencies will dig up the records. I am sure that the Govt. will not leave any one responsible for delaying the projects related to the games that brought shame. Not only delays but even the involvement of corruption will be certainly looked in to. This time Prime Minister would do a lot of good if he sees to it that these scoundrels are hanged in accordance with the law. The punishment should be so illustrative that no future projects are ever taken for a ride in the country and if needed we must change the required provisions of the law to make punishment deterrent enough to signal that corruption will not be tolerated in this country any more.
Having said all that, I would like to add now that Games that brought Shame to the nation now be used at this late stage to secure Fame for the nation by giving our best to the athletes so that they carry very good impression of India.

Games, Shame and Fame.

The 2010 Commonwealth Games the most expensive Commonwealth Games ever

Do you know the 2010 Commonwealth Games the most expensive Commonwealth Games ever?
The official total budget estimated for hosting the Games is Rs-11,494 crore (US$2.5 billion) and this amount excludes non-sports-related infrastructure development in the city like airports, roads and other structures. Business Today magazine estimates that the games cost 300 billion(US$6.51 Billion).
Delhi bid won by a margin of 46 votes to 22, confirming India's first successful bid for the Games
India shifted the balance in its favor in the second round of voting with a promise that it would provide US$100,000 to each participating country, along with air tickets, boarding, lodging and transport. The successful 2003 Afro-Asian Games held in Hyderabad was also seen as having showed India has the resources, infrastructure and technical know-how to stage a big sporting event. India also thanked Latif Butt, former vice president of the Olympic Council of Asia, for his support in the winning bid, by saying, "You played a vital role in the Commonwealth Games 2010 being allotted to India.
The official song of the 2010 Commonwealth Games Jiyo Utho Bado Jeeto was composed and performed by the Indian musician A. R. Rahman. The song's title is based on the slogan of the games, "Come out and play". The song is penned by Mehboob in Hindi with a sprinkling of English words. It was released on 28 August 2010 & costing of the song is 5 corer.
At last I would like to say that India is hosting the most expensive Commonwealth Games ever but the world is ready to appreciate us in spite of criticizing. I don't why foreigners are not ready to accept our achievement & greatness, when ever we are organizing ant big event every time they are ready to criticize us. If India is a poor place to stay than why cricketers from every nation want to play in IPL(Indian premier league) & why every year millions of foreign tourists are coming India. None of the foreign cricketer ever dare to criticize India & IPL, what to talk about withdrawing name from IPL means foreign athletes are making unnecessary fuse for publicity. It's a shameful act & they have to bag apology, if they are the true sportsman.

Why The World is criticizing Commonwealth Games 2010?

I am asking this question to every one, Why world is criticizing Commonwealth Games 2010?
At first Australia's swimming coach Leigh Nugent, criticized Commonwealth Games saying that " hygiene at the Commonwealth Games Village in Delhi is a bigger concern for him than the terror threats to the October 3 to 14 event".

Now English athletes Phillips Idowu, Christine Ohuruogu and Lisa Dobriskey have all pulled out of the Commonwealth Games saying that " Commonwealth Games village is unfit for human habitation.

On his Twitter feed Idowu, 31, said: "Sorry people, but I have children to think about. My safety is more important to them than a medal."According to BBC

As far as I concern,This statement is really shameful & baseless because none of the nation is safe from terrorism. I think they are doing the drama to became the head line of the media. If India is that much poor place to stay on then why England cricket team & Australian cricket

& other cricketing teams coming India to play cricket why cricketers are not criticizing India as the mater of fact India is the best host. You see India organized cricket world cup twice none of the foreign dared to criticize India because India has given them a lesson how to organize a big event & taught them the lesson of hospitality.

I don't why when ever an Asian country organizing a big event the world is ready to criticize it while we never criticized any other nation because we know we are human being not God than why not other people are not getting this or they don't want to see the progress of other nation. No doubt about it that the world is doing the drama to put India on back foot.

At last I would like to say that God is great & I am sure India will be the best host & world will remember it & we will answer every one who criticized us, through our hospitality. I am sure no one can stop us for making Commonwealth Games successful.

Jai Bharat, Jai Hind

The reality of Development & common wealth games

I think you all have heard the dialog of our politicians that " Our motto is development" & also heard the statement of Delhi CM Shila Dixit last year that " Common man should cut their pocket for development & this year she told "common men should pay for games" when Delhi govt increased the fare price & fuel price. Finally comman man paid a huge amount after price rise but still development is far away from us & Common wealth game going towards the dark future after so many missed deadline complete the game Vance, Every thing is incomplete or poorly constructed. The beginning of the rainy season shown of the clear picture of development as most part of the Delhi facing water logging & roads are caving every where. Now Govt & MCD blaming CWG games for water logging & road caving while the mater of fact this is the story of every rainy season we are facing the similar problem every year during rain. Common man always gets Excuses Excuses Excuses nothing else on behalf of poor development & corruption.
At last I would like to say only honesty can make us development but our Politicians are far away from honesty. So development is nothing but looking like mirage which will disappear after the twinkling of eyes. I think Only God can make us develop.

Delhi:-The Cultural Desert

The Heart & the capital of India Delhi which going to host Common Wealth Game 2010. I am very sorry to say this heart is also desert of culture. You can say that Delhiities don’t know the meaning of culture, do you know why? This is because Delhi doesn’t having an independent culture like all the state having like Bhiar, Orissa, Punjab, Haryana & Rajasthan etc. Most of the people are from the other states like Bihar, Haryana, Orissa, Punjab, Rajesthan & U.P OR from south India so Delhi having a cocktail of culture & the mater fact cocktail never be good. This is the main reason behind delhiites poor culture. I have done my schooling from Orissa & I am giving you the great example of this state’s culture that I have never seen woman traveling without seat in a bus or a train, it’s culture that gives respect to women society & it’s my child habit I always offer my seat to women or any one who is needful so when I came to Delhi 5 year back, I behaved according to my culture but I faced criticism & also got some useful advice from the Delhiites that “Gandhi Badi chod the ager Delhi me rahana chata hai” You see this is the culture of Delhi, you travel in a train, bus or metro, you will easily find out the shameless creature sitting on the reserved seats of Ladies, seiner citizens or physically handicap & don’t ready to offer their seats to the deserving person, if you will argue with them they will ready to fight with you what you will address them “Padha likha gawar” or what?
On the other hand traffic rules are useless for Delhiites as they get habituated not to follow the traffic rules. If I am lying than come to Delhi you will watch out the complete movie, I am only showing you the trailer.
According to the survey of Delhi govt 90% women are unsafe in Delhi particularly the public places like Bus stops, metros, shopping malls, parks, markets, schools or collages means none of the place is safe for women on the other hand crime is increasing as the day progressing not only sex related crime but also murder, theft, Robbery & corruption. Now a days, It’s difficult to find want a honest & well cultured person as I already spent 5 year in Delhi I never came across a honest & wise man, I am saying the bitter truth about Delhiites, as far as I concern 99% people from Delhi are corrupted & cheaters. You can’t dare to trust on them.
This is the culture of Delhi
I don’t know what type of impression our behavior will put on other nation & what they will think about Indians when they will come to India ironically which is going to host in Delhi. I think govt should start public awareness programs to teach the A, B, and C of culture to the Delhiites or strict rules should be bring in to act for the uncultured persons. This is the only solution to the pollution of Delhi.

Thanks to Common Wealth Game, Soon Delhi will be beggar Free

This is one of the oldest program of Delhi govt to make beggar free Delhi, When ever India hosting any big sporting event they want to get rid of beggars so its not surprising to see the initiatives of Indian govt to made beggar free Delhi in the run up to next year’s Commonwealth Games, The Delhi Social Welfare minister Mangat Ram Singhal launched the mobile courts to fast track cases against beggars, whose population in Delhi is estimated at over 100,000. Ten more mobile courts will be introduced soon.
Now Social Welfare Ministry having 13 vehicles for catching beggars & they are ordered to catch 65 beggars per day & beggars will face the punishment between 1 to 10 year.

Minister Singhal said in New Delhi " To begin with, citizens who spot beggars can reach the mobile courts through a control room. The courts will reach the spot and take away the beggars,
Make no mistake, this is one determined minister. “Before the 2010 Commonwealth Games,” he says, “we want to finish the problem of beggary from Delhi.” How? By depositing them elsewhere — the suburbs, jails, wherever — as Uttam pertinently suggests?
At last I would like to say that why our govt always come into sense during any big event why not every time? Is this to show the world how develop we are? If it is than so sad to India & Its govt who believes only to hide the ugliness of our country in spite of solving it.

Thanks common Wealth Game who at list forced them to take initiatives to solve this problem as the mater fact our govt never interested to solve this problem rather than halting it for some time, to show our untrue development in front of the world.
This is our development & growth!
India is indeed great
