The Golden girl and Indian Badminton queen Sania Nehwal who won Indonesia Super Series 2009, Singapore Super Series 2010, Indonesia Super Series 2010, Hong Kong Super Series 2010, Chinese Taipei Open Grand Prix Gold 2008, India Open Grand Prix Gold 2010, Swiss Open Grand Prix Gold 2011 and now ranked world no 3 while her career best is no 2.
So far she won 18 gold, 1 silver and 2 bronze for India and eying to no 1 position and want be the queen of world badminton. Now question arise, can she do it? Now The 21-year-old Hyderabad lass, who won the Swiss Open last month, was struggling with a right ankle injury, which she sustained during the title clash against Wang Shixian, at the Hong Kong Super Series in December.
I am remembering the worlds of Sania Nehwal addressing to TOI that “I’m open to endorsements, but I’ll probably think of TV and films only after retiring from badminton. I keep practicing all day, where is the time to spend hours on make-up”
Can she destroy her carrier like Sania Mirza? I no it's too early to think like this, she having all the quality to becoming no 1 badminton player but what pushing her back? Is it media? I ma sure it's media, which changing her game, you see after wining Gold in Common wealth Game 2010, she crushed out in Asian Games now she is facing injury problem.
At last I would like to say that Sania Nehwal is one of the most talented badminton player and having all the quality to becoming No 1 and I m sure she can do it. What you think? Please be open to give your view.
